Mr. Hunter first came to his current family by way of a white elephant party.
His origins have been unknown for years, although there is
a new theory that Mr. Hunter may have started his life in the Bahamas. Some have speculated that he's Polynesian. The travel writer
Richard Bangs thought Mr. Hunter was most likely a cheap souvenir from western Africa. Who can say? We'll report back on the Bahamas theory as soon as we've been able investigate further!
