Flying to the Bahamas

Mr. Hunter and family recently braved the heat and humidity of July in the Bahamas.  Here's Mr. Hunter admiring the view on the flight out to New Providence Island.

We'd been flying for awhile when we saw this island.
It could be Bimini.

Here's some video of when we were flying over the northeastern section of Andros Island.  I love the blues and blue-greens.

We were on a prop plane,
and the camera gave the propellers a notable look.

Faites la connaissance d'Hélène

Meet Hélène!

Mr. Hunter's first pose with the elegant Hélène 

included this random, bearded sculpture from Adam's cube.

These two hit it off right away, and since that first meeting, Hélène has taken Flat Mr. Hunter (ahem, Monsieur Hunter) along on several journeys in the United States and beyond.  Fun!

Meet Mr. Hunter Jr. - the first flat Mr. Hunter!

The first Flat Mr. Hunter -- actually a set of flat Mr. Hunters -- was inspired by Allyson, one of the original Mr. H's most favorite people and a star of many a classic Mr. Hunter photograph.  

Allyson and her husband embarked on an around-the-world journey in 2006, and Mr. Hunter couldn't resist the chance to send some flat ambassadors along for the ride.
